HONG KONG -- Hong Kong stocks went down 189. 46 points, or 0.84 percent, to close at 22,420.37 on Friday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 22,674.80 and 22, 297.94. Turnover totaled HK$70.13 billion (about $9.01 billion).
