Huaxia Bank profit up 13%

Huaxia Bank Co Ltd posted an unaudited 2006 net profit of 1.457 billion yuan (US$188 million), up 13 percent from 2005.
Turnover rose 31 percent to 18 billion yuan, it said in its initial results report published in the Shanghai Securities News.
Huaxia Bank expects to post audited results on April 20, which could differ from the unaudited figures, it said.
