Taikang Assets Management plans HK branch

Updated: 2006-09-12 08:38 Taikang Assets Management Co Ltd, a subsidiary of Taikang Life Insurance Co, is prepared to establish a branch in Hong Kong. Taikang Life will expand its overseas investment businesses and focus on capital accumulation, Chief Executive Officer Chen Dongsheng said at the celebration for the company's tenth anniversary in August. "The incomplete opening-up of the yuan makes it important for the company to secure a position on the Hong Kong market to allocate assets globally and maximize profits," Chen said. ......
