China's stocks close mixed on Tuesday

BEIJING - Chinese equities closed mixed on Tuesday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index edging up 0.20 point to end at 2,688.52.
The Shenzhen Component Index fell 24.94 points, or 0.21 percent, to end at 11,665.41.
Combined turnover stood at 265.96 billion yuan ($39.42 billion), up from 265.30 billion yuan on the previous trading day.
Losers outnumbered gainers by 480 to 389 in Shanghai and by 569 to 463 in Shenzhen.
