Mobile tech company announces Pop Mart partnership
Mobile technology company Segway-Ninebot has announced a brand partnership with Pop Mart's popular IP "Sweet Bean", with the companies planning to launch their first co-branded electric scooter product next month.
The collaboration will focus on younger consumers, aiming to transform electric scooters from purely functional mobility tools into personalized "display spaces" that reflect individual identity, the company said.
"Sweet Bean", a well-known Pop Mart character, is popular among younger and Gen Z customers, with nearly 70 percent of buyers falling within the 18–34 age group.
By integrating IP elements into both product design and usage scenarios, the two companies said they aim to explore new ways of combining emotional value with cultural attributes.
