30,000 runners compete in cherry blossom-lined Wuhan Marathon

Approximately 30,000 runners from 69 countries and regions came to Wuhan, Hubei province, on Sunday to compete among cherry blossoms in the Wuhan Marathon.
This year's event linked seven districts and toured multiple attractions or city landmarks, including the Yellow Crane Tower, East Lake, the Yangtze River Bridge, and the Yangtze River beach.
Along the way, the runners passed 3,500 cherry blossom trees. The home stretch of the race featured 760 meters of trail decorated with cherry blossom flowers.
