On the grasslands of the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, Musajan Khairat embodies community spirit. A self-taught blacksmith who lifted his family out of poverty, he eventually found purpose in sharing his craft, offering free training to others in his community. Now an NPC deputy, he focuses on the everyday challenges faced by local residents. Responding to villagers' concerns about farmland irrigation and poor road access, he has called for the development of high-standard farmland in a ravine area of his hometown.
