Over 2,200 cruise passengers arrived at Xiamen International Cruise Home Port on Feb 19 aboard Star Cruises' Star Voyager, marking the start of the port's 2026 cruise season.

For the Spring Festival holiday, venues such as Xiamen International Cruise Home Port, Dongdu Ferry Terminal, Heping Wharf, and the "Minnan Timewalk" themed scenic area created an immersive atmosphere, allowing visitors to experience Minnan (Southern Fujian) culture.

From February to April, the Star Voyager will operate nine round-trip voyages on the "Hong Kong–Xiamen" route. Starting in April, the Adora Mediterranea will launch four home-port itineraries in Xiamen, covering short getaways, twin-island highlights, multi-country tours, and cross-country voyages.

Xiamen has led in launching the "entry convenience service package" mini-program, allowing foreign tourists to generate, with one click after registration, a Chinese-language accommodation registration QR code, a metro QR code, and a temporary medical insurance registration code, enabling one-stop processing for customs clearance, transportation, and medical services.

The number of international tourists booking domestic flights with foreign passports during this year's Spring Festival holiday increased by over 20 percent year-on-year. Xiamen, together with cities like Beijing and Shanghai, ranked among the country's most popular inbound travel destinations.
