Carlos Vasquez, Peruvian ambassador to China, stated in a recent interview with China Daily that the upcoming China's 15th Five-Year Plan will show that the Chinese government attaches great importance to formulating long-term plans and maintaining strategic clarity. In his view, the proposals fully demonstrate the ability of the Chinese economy to cooperate with other countries.

Vasquez also noted that Peru looks forward to continuing cooperation with the Chinese government, and hopes that China will help Peru advance its infrastructure development.
