Recently, Layla Rabie, a Libyan working in China, experienced auricular plaster therapy at a traditional Chinese medicine event at Beijing Massage Hospital, hoping to improve her sleep quality.
The event attracted many visitors, who tried TCM therapies such as pulse diagnosis and tuina massage, made herbal bookmarks, and sampled TCM medicinal drinks and pastries.
Across China, TCM markets offering such experiences are emerging, drawing a younger clientele interested in TCM culture.
