Hebei's foreign trade grows 11% for 2025
Hebei province recorded robust foreign trade growth in 2025, with its total import and export value reaching 682.22 billion yuan ($98 billion), up 11 percent year-on-year, according to Shijiazhuang Customs.
This marks the ninth consecutive year of growth for Hebei, according to a report by local news portal hebccw.cn, quoting the customs authority that announced the results at its annual work conference on Sunday.
In 2025, Shijiazhuang Customs introduced over 200 measures to support trade by increasing efficiency and reducing business costs, including the "inspect before loading" model for cross-border e-commerce exports in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
The customs also streamlined procedures by moving tax incentive approvals online, saving enterprises 160 million yuan in taxes. It issued 149,000 certificates of origin that helped companies secure tariff reductions of about 2.37 billion yuan from trading partners.
According to the authorities at Shijiazhuang Customs, it will continue to improve supervision and services this year, focus on port safety supervision, and support innovative trade formats to contribute to high-quality development.
