China expands high-speed railway pet transport services for Spring Festival travel

With the arrival of the Spring Festival travel season, Lanzhou West Railway Station in Gansu province has welcomed a number of pet passengers. These pet passengers are specially monitored and looked after by train staff, traveling in dedicated pet transport cases equipped with intelligent monitoring systems.
Since Jan 28, the railway authorities have further increased the number of high-speed railway stations with pet consignment services. Passengers can make online reservations through the 12306 app or WeChat mini-program, making pet travel more convenient during the Spring Festival period.
