DAMASCUS -- The Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) said on Tuesday it was "compelled" to withdraw from Al-Hol Camp, which houses families of Islamic State (IS) militants, according to a statement on X.
The statement cited "international indifference" to the threat posed by the IS group and said the failure of the global community to take responsibility left the SDF with no choice, without elaborating further.
