China takes top honors at acrobatics festival
Mom's Pride — Contortion with Glasses offers a delicate, poetic interpretation of human emotion. The piece, created through innovative design, elevates the traditional cup-rolling technique to new heights, creating a metaphorical journey that explores familial love. The performance, set against the backdrop of a morning prairie, tells the story of two sisters carefully balancing glass cups, embodying the purity of affection and connection through finely honed acrobatic precision.
In a strategic move that further solidifies the partnership between China and Hungary, a cooperation agreement was signed at the closing ceremony of the festival. The agreement, signed by the China National Acrobatic Troupe, Beijing Acrobatic School, Hungary's National Circus Arts Center Nonprofit Ltd, and Budapest Circus Arts and Contemporary Dance College, marks the establishment of the Chinese Acrobatic Troupe European Performance Base in Budapest.
