Robust growth in EV charging piles
The number of charging piles for electric vehicles in China exceeded 19.32 million as of the end of November, marking an increase of 52 percent from a year ago, official data showed. Among them, around 4.63 million were public charging facilities, while over 14.7 million were private, up 36 percent and 57.8 percent, respectively, according to data from the National Energy Administration. The combined rated power of public EV charging facilities was approximately 210 million kilowatts at the end of November, or 45.34 kilowatts on average, according to the data.
Railway workers get recreational facilities
Chinese railway operators are building more "employee stations" to enhance the happiness and sense of belonging of railway employees. The Houmabei Locomotive Depot in Shanxi province has added a 483-square-meter new "Employee Station" to accommodate new workers. Divided into two floors and 16 functional areas, its 33 sets of facilities and equipment can meet their needs for communication, interaction, recreation and reading. So far, the depot has built five such facilities and a commuting station within its jurisdiction.
