A Qingyang Huiguoyuan Fruit and Vegetable Co storage facility in Xifeng district, Qingyang, Gansu province, has been bustling with activity, with workers sorting, grading, and packaging apples, ready to ship boxes of bright, high-quality fruit nationwide.

With an annual storage capacity of over 3,000 metric tons, the facility has already taken in more than 2,000 tons of apples from over 300 local growers this year. Since November, it has sold 350 tons of apples and received positive market feedback.

By adopting a model that combines cold storage with strategic off-season sales, the facility not only maintains the apples' quality and freshness, addressing growers' storage concerns, but also enhances market competitiveness by avoiding the peak harvest season. This approach helps maximize growers' profits and injects steady momentum into the local apple industry.
