The grand finale of the evening a performance of Brahms' Violin Concerto in D Major, Op. 77, with the renowned violinist Shaham as the soloist. Shaham, widely regarded as one of the greatest violinists of his generation, has captured the admiration of orchestras and conductors worldwide. With his performance of Brahms' iconic concerto, Shaham showcased his dazzling technique and expressive power — nothing short of breathtaking.

Launched in 1998, and organized by the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, this year's Beijing Music Festival, which ran from Oct 10 to 24, brought a dynamic fusion of classical and contemporary works, showcasing both Chinese and international composers, while fostering musical dialogues between the East and West.

The closing concert of the 28th Beijing Music Festival was a conclusion to a festival that celebrates both innovation and tradition in the world of music.
