Zhengzhou inks friendly cooperation with 4 intl cities
Zhengzhou of Henan province has signed agreements to establish friendly relations with four international cities, expanding its global network for cooperation in trade, tourism and culture.
The memorandums of understanding were signed during the opening ceremony of the Global Mayors Dialogue Zhengzhou & 2025 International Mayor's Forum on Tourism on Friday. The partner cities include Jaén province in Spain, Kumasi in Ghana, Bandar Lampung in Indonesia, and Rotorua in New Zealand.
Tania Arihia Tapsell, Mayor of Rotorua, praised Zhengzhou's innovative approach to showcasing its culture and history. "I truly hope to see similar collaborations between us in the future," she said.
The agreements reflect Zhengzhou's ongoing efforts to strengthen international connections and lay the groundwork for deeper collaboration in areas such as the economy, trade and cultural exchange.
