In December 2020, China's Chang'e-5 spacecraft returned to Earth with 1,731 grams of moon samples. This small yet valuable gift from the moon not only motivates further research but has inspired artists' imaginations and creations to project the future of humanity.

Boundaries of Symbiosis, an exhibition opened in Tianjin, attests to people's increasing interest in space and extraterrestrial life, as well as the prospect of digital life. Young artists display manuscripts, digital installations and interactive works to show how progress in space exploration, artificial intelligence and other scientific areas add perspective to artistic creativity. Liu Peiwen, a featured artist, says the exhibition displays what forms of creativity arise from shrewd observations of the universe, the world and human nature.
