A new edition of DK English Grammar Guide was launched by China Translation Publishing House at the 31st Beijing International Book Fair on Saturday.

The grammar guide is one of the four books in the best-selling series for English language learners, DK English For Everyone, which has sold a total of more than 1 million copies since being translated and introduced to China in 2018.

The series, a collaboration between China Translation and Publishing House and UK publisher DK, offers a comprehensive self-study English tutorial covering listening, speaking, reading, and writing. It utilizes DK's extensive corpus and image library to create an intuitive visual learning system, designed for easy memorization and practical mastery of English.

In the AI era, learning foreign languages has become even more crucial, said Peng Ping, professor from School of English and International Studies of Beijing Foreign Studies University.

This English-studying series can meet the needs of modern learners with fragmented schedules, she said.

In an innovative visual learning approach, it makes learning English more intuitive and efficient, so that readers can gain a deeper understanding of authentic English expressions and language patterns, she said, commenting on the books.
