Li Lecheng has been appointed as the Minister of Industry and Information Technology, replacing Jin Zhuanglong, according to a statement published on the ministry's official WeChat account on Wednesday.
Li was appointed as the Party secretary of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in February.
