The Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism announced the locations of the city's Top 10 Spring Flower Viewing Spots on Thursday, including spots along the Beijing Central Axis and the Great Wall.

Partnering with Gaode Map, the bureau has created a flower viewing guide, making it easier for visitors to plan a springtime outing.

The western district of Mentougou has also released a Spring Travel Calendar, a guide to the best spots and times to enjoy floral displays, from magnolias, lilacs, winter jasmine and peonies, to pear blossoms, cherry blossoms, apricot blossoms and peach blossoms.

At the launch ceremony, the district organized a three-day spring fair, which showcases the region's culture, such as handmade sachets and silk ribbon flowers featuring intangible cultural heritage elements.
