As the spring plowing season approaches, staff members at the Changfeng Agricultural Service Center in Muba township, Peng'an county, Sichuan province, are busy working in a smart seedling cultivation center to cultivate corn, peppers and rice.

According to the center, it is equipped with temperature and humidity control systems, allowing for fully automated seedling production. With a daily capacity of 8,000 seedling trays, the center is able to fulfill the planting needs for 1,000 hectares of nearby farmland.

Local authorities said Peng'an has made significant strides in developing smart seedling centers, widely adopting intensive production techniques for rice and vegetables.

They added that by introducing cultivation techniques tailored to market needs, the county has enhanced agricultural productivity and raised farmers' incomes.
