Shen'ao, an ancient village enriched with a thousand years of history, is situated in Tonglu county, Zhejiang province.
The village is well-known for its sprawling ancient buildings and rich folk customs, maintaining more than 140 well-preserved traditional buildings from the Ming and Qing dynasties, and boasting an area of more than 40,000 square meters. Each building conveys its own unique humanistic story.
