Airshow in Zhuhai has taken off in a big way
The six-day 15th China International Aviation& Aerospace Exhibition in Zhuhai, Guangdong province, concluded on Sunday after seeing participation by 1,022 companies from 47 countries and regions. Around 285.6 billion yuan ($39.42 billion) worth of deals were signed at the airshow.
The participating companies brought a feast of new technologies for the visitors' eyes. Artificial intelligence and new energy were behind most of the new attractions. New technologies have helped the domestic aerospace industry remain competitive as they are heavily dependent on rapid technological iteration, innovation capability, and the speed of product updates. The introduction of new technologies from various industries lit up the airshow, providing new momentum for the aerospace industry.
The airshow demonstrates the world's confidence in China's development in aerospace. It will hopefully push reform in this field, driving domestic companies to improve their technologies and strategies to better compete in the international market.
