A drone carrying a base station was flown above the villages of Wengui and Daxin in Pingyuan county to provide temporary service after the rains disrupted mobile telecommunication.

On Tuesday morning, the Junkeng Reservoir in Jiaoling county was found damaged, and more than 4,000 people living downstream were evacuated.
