Private enterprises should strive to carry forward the "Jinjiang Experience", give play to the entrepreneurs' hard-working spirit and promote technological innovation, a national political adviser said.

Lin Xiaofa, a member of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, made the remarks during an interview ahead of the closing meeting of the second session of the 14th CPPCC National Committee on Sunday.

Lin, who is also chairman of Chinese smart kitchen and bathroom products maker Jomoo Group, said Jinjiang, a county-level city in Quanzhou, East China's Fujian province, has been the birthplace of a host of private enterprises and homegrown brands, and created the "Jinjiang Experience".

Currently, the private enterprises contribute more than 70 percent of tax revenues in Fujian, over 80 percent of employment opportunities and over 90 percent of market entities, he said.

According to him, Jomoo is dedicated to self-independent technological innovation and has realized intelligent and digital transformation, while creating the world's first green "lighthouse factory".

Lighthouse factories represent the highest level of global intelligent manufacturing and are characterized by high efficiency, intelligence and sustainability.

More than 70 percent of scientific and technological achievements are created by private enterprises, and over 80 percent of national-level enterprises' technology centers are from private enterprises, Lin said, adding that private enterprises also take up for more than 90 percent of high-tech enterprises.
