Yvon le Maho, a French academician of both the Academy of Europe (Academia Europaea) and the French Academy of Sciences, was recently presented with the 2023 Chinese Government Friendship Award, the highest honor bestowed upon foreigners in China. The zoologist, known for his biodiversity work, spoke highly of China’s achievements in scientific research in recent years. Click the video to hear what he had to say.
