National vocational skills competition sets off this week

The second national vocational skills competition kicked off in Tianjin on Saturday afternoon.
The four-day event has attracted 4,045 contestants from 36 delegations across the country.
Wang Xiaoping, minister of human resources and social security, said: "The competition is the largest in scale and has the highest number of participants, making it the most influential vocational skills competition in the country."
Zhang Gong, mayor of Tianjin, which has a long tradition of nurturing vocational skill personnel, expressed a warm welcome to talented individuals from all over China.
