The National Forestry and Grassland Administration with other State organs has recently approved the sand treatment and control plans by seven provincial-level regions.

The regions are Hebei, Anhui, Gansu, Heilongjiang, and Shaanxi provinces and Guangxi Zhuang and Tibet autonomous regions.

The approval is in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Water Resources, Natural Resources, and Ecology and Environment.

The regions are required to implement the plans and regularly evaluate the progress to ensure effective results.
