China Daily recognized at news design awards
China Daily won nine "Excellence Awards" at the recently-held 44th edition of the Society for News Design's Best of Print News Design Creative Competition.
The awards were for designs that included coverage of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics and Paralympics, "The Landscape Legacies" series, and the "Dynamic Decade" series, and were in six categories, including "Special Coverage", "Inside Pages", "Information Graphics", and "Illustration".
The Society for News Design, or SND, is an international organization for news media professionals and visual communicators who create print, web, and mobile publications and products. SND invited 27 judges from around the world to review nearly 2,700 entries in 11 categories during four days of judging.
The competition was for work in visual storytelling and design for editorial work produced in 2022.
