Shanghai experience hall showcases digital transformation
The Shanghai Digital Transformation Experience Hall was unveiled on Friday in the city's Yangpu district, a new landmark to showcase Shanghai's achievements and practices in digital transformation.
The 7,100-square-meter experience hall displays 610 items covering 116 scenes under 35 themes, according to Zhang Ying, deputy director of the Shanghai Commission of Economy and Informatization.
In the experience hall, Commercial Aircraft Corp of China, the manufacturer of China's first home-built narrow-body passenger jet C919, exhibited its industrial metaverse plus factory, while Shanghai International Port Group debuted its fully automated terminal to the public.
The construction of an innovative ecology hub kicked off the same day. The 15,300-square-meter project will become an important platform for international innovative competition, as well as innovation and incubation in the city's digital ecosystem.
