Lin Fan, who will arrive in Beijing on Friday night from Taiyuan, Shanxi province, said he reserved a taxi from an online platform to ensure he could get to the capital.
"It's all right to get in some traffic jams, since people from all over the country are coming back to Beijing," he said. "It was still worth the trip since the Spring Festival means a lot for family reunions."
