Watch it again: Gen Zers talk about the key words of 2022 and of their hopes for 2023
The seventh episode of season two of the China Daily series Youth Power, titled "Your Year, Your Word", will be broadcast on Dec 30 at 8 pm Beijing time (7 am EST).
Standing on the threshold at which 2022 crosses into 2023, young people from Bulgaria, China, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ireland, Israel, Russia, South Africa and the United States and other countries have been invited to wrap up the year and envisage the coming year by way of a keyword.
The guests made their word choices either based on their life experience or their reflections on China's development and global issues, which fully demonstrated Gen Zers' understanding of themselves, their home country and the world.
