PRESIDENT XI JINPING:
? China-Singapore relations have maintained sound development momentum. Good relations help the two countries work together in fighting the pandemic and helping the economy to recover, and inject positive energy into regional stability and prosperity.
? The countries' ties are forward-looking, exemplary and of strategic importance. China stands ready to work with Singapore to advance their all-around cooperative partnership, which is progressing with the times, to make new strides.
? China is willing to maintain high-level exchanges with Singapore and welcomes the city-state to be deeply involved in the nation's new development paradigm to promote high-quality bilateral cooperation.
? The two countries should develop high-quality cooperation on the joint building of the Belt and Road, upgrade cooperative projects in digitalization and green development, conclude follow-up negotiations on a free trade agreement as soon as possible, raise the level of the countries' trade and investment liberalization, and facilitate people-to-people exchanges.
? China is willing to work with Singapore to uphold regional unity and cooperation, oppose group politics, resist bloc confrontation, uphold regional economic integration and resolutely oppose decoupling and disruption of the industrial and supply chains.
? It is hoped that both countries will jointly push for the implementation of the Global Development Initiative in the region.
