Changbai Mountain's story told through camera lens

Over the past four years, 62-year-old photographer Li Defu has shot more than 50,000 photos of the Changbai Mountain in Jilin province.
His photos capture the distinctive moods of the natural wonder in different seasons as well as rare wild animals inhabiting in the area.
Changbai Mountain is the home of various wild animals. Carrying heavy equipment, he often passed through the deserted forest to follow a running, sometimes injured, animal.
Li tried his best to capture the animals without disturbing them and has always taken protecting wild animals and caring for the ecological environment as his mission and responsibility.
