The province is now aiming to double the added value of its digital economy and the added value of its core industries to more than 7 trillion yuan and 1.6 trillion yuan, respectively, by 2027.

To achieve the goals, Zhejiang will build a digital technology innovation center with global influence, promote digital industrialization and industrial digitalization and innovation is the institutional systems and mechanisms of the digital economy.

Zhejiang will strive to become a global financial center, a global digital trade center, a pilot area for data infrastructure systems, a pilot area for digital empowerment and common prosperity and a new computational power center to bolster its digitalization.

The white paper said that Zhejiang has used new digital technologies to transform manufacturing, service industries, and agriculture, making its industrial digitalization level first in the country.
