It smells really bad, but it tastes really good.
It is luosifen, a stinky and spicy rice noodle, originating from Liuzhou in Southwest China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region.
In 2021, the sales revenue of the luosifen industry chain reached 50.16 billion yuan ($7.46 billion).
The whole chain of luosifen has created more than 300,000 jobs and helped lift 28,000 people out of poverty.
