Skiers compete in Guangdong, leaving heat outside

The finals of the second Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Ski Competition kicked off in Guangzhou, Guangdong province, over the weekend.
More than 150 skiers between 6 and 50 years old from across the country — including 69 from the Bay Area — are competing at the Bonski indoor venue in Huadu district.
The venue also welcomed the first summertime ice and snow sports festival in Guangzhou. It will last three months.
