The tenth episode of the China Daily series Youth Power, titled "Gen Z Responds to China's Global Development Initiative", will be broadcast online at 8pm Beijing time (8 am EST) on Wednesday, March 30th.

In 2021, China's President Xi Jinping made a speech about "global development initiatives" which outlined 8 key areas of improvement. On this episode we invite Gen Z from around the world to make their own statements on these key areas and give a fresh new perspective on Xi's initiatives. After all, young people are the future world leaders, their ideas are the seeds for change in the coming years.

With guests from North America, India, China, Russia, and Germany we get a broader idea of these issues from a global outlook. With voices from all over the world, we see how these 8 key areas are being dealt with in China and abroad.
