In all three Paralympic villages, equipment repair services are available, so that athletes can have peace of mind and focus on the competitions.
Comprehensive medical services covering 18 divisions, including rehabilitation, dental and psychological, provide 16 hours of outpatient services every day, while the services are on call 24 hours a day for emergencies.
The Paralympic villages have been fitted with gyms and recreational areas for the athletes to exercise and relax.
The 2,000-square-meter fitness center at the Paralympic Village in downtown Beijing features 166 fitness facilities of 23 different kinds, among which many are bespoke for athletes with different disabilities.
