Li said that as a low-carbon and oxygen-containing fuel, methanol is efficient, clean and renewable. It is safer and more convenient for storage, transportation and use than other new energy and clean energy. Developing methanol vehicles will ensure energy security in China and increase the proportion of clean energy used in transportation.
