The high-quality development of the equipment manufacturing industry is the top priority for China's high-quality economic development, said Liu Mingzhong, chairman of the Heilongjiang province-based China First Heavy Industries Co.

Liu, who is a member of the 13th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, said the company will stick to independent innovation, help improve basic industrial capacities and equipment manufacturing industry chain, as also ramp up the revitalization of Northeast China.
