Removing additional tariffs will benefit not only China and the United States but also the world, Shu Jueting, spokeswoman of China's Ministry of Commerce, told an online media briefing on Thursday.

Amid the context of inflation, elimination of additional tariffs are in line with ultimate interests of producers and customers in both China and the US, and will also help the world's economic recovery, she said, after being asked for comments on US President Joe Biden's recent remarks that it was too soon to make commitments on lifting US tariffs on Chinese goods.
