The 4th China International Import Expo launched its online media center on Oct 26 to provide media workers with more convenient information services, according to the expo organizer.

The portal can be accessed through the official website of the CIIE (www.ciie.org), where registered reporters can find various information including lists for exhibits and exhibitors, events notices and the media handbook.

The organizer has also developed a WeChat "mini app" and public account for those who want to access through mobile phone.

The center offers reporting tips, event reservations, transport bookings and other supporting services.

Detailed exhibits and exhibitors lists are shown in a database, which is a new feature compared to the previous versions. Reporters can sort and search items based on the categories and venues of the exhibit.

Other sections enable users to check for debuts or key products that have appeared in the past CIIEs.
