Top 10 Chinese cities with boost consumption during the National Day Holiday

As the COVID-19 pandemic was kept under better control in China, the past weeklong National Day holiday saw a consistent recovery in consumption. According to a report released by internet giant Meituan on Oct 6, total consumption volume this year during "Golden Week" increased by 29.5 percent compared to last year.
The figure included the consumption data of all businesses run by Meituan, such as catering, accommodation, travel and entertainment. Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen and Guangzhou are the first four cities with the largest consumption volume. Here is the full list:
