The International Finance Forum Institute signed a letter of intent with the International Institute of Green Finance on Sunday to promote cooperation in green financing.

Both sides agreed to conduct research on green financing, construct an index on global green finance development, and promote cooperation in international climate finance and biodiversity finance.

Tang Dingding, a forum academic committee member, said the forum is looking forward to having wider and deeper cooperation with the Central University of Finance and Economics, of which the institute is operated under.

Tang said constructing an index on global green finance development is the first project of cooperation between the forum and institute, and both sides have already started working on the matter.

Going forward, both sides will co-release a report, an index, and a rank on global green financing development on a yearly basis.
