Summer arts festival wraps up in Beijing

The annual Gateway to Arts 2021 Summer Festival wrapped up on Aug 31 with a show by the National Ballet of China at the Forbidden City Concert Hall in Beijing.
During the first half of the show, musicians from the symphony orchestra of the National Ballet of China performed musical work, including the third movement of String Quartet No 1 by Rachmaninoff, the second movement of String Quartet No 2, Op 26 by Erich Wolfgang Korngold and Chinese composer Bao Yuankai's String Quartet based on three Chinese folk songs.
