Shangri-La Group and the Singapore Tourism Board have come together to present the "Savour Singapore in Every Bite" food festival across seven cities and nine Shangri-La and Kerry hotels on the Chinese mainland from Friday to Sept 16.

The nine Shangri-La and Kerry hotels include China World Summit Wing, Beijing; Kerry Hotel Pudong, Shanghai; Shangri-La Guangzhou; Shangri-La Chengdu; and Shangri-La Shenyang. They are paying tribute to the flavors that make up Singapore's rich culinary culture with immersive dining experiences crafted by master chefs.

The event is part of the 28th Singapore Food Festival, which has been hosted by the Singapore Tourism Board since 1994 to showcase the country's food culture and culinary heritage.

This year, the Singapore Food Festival is inviting foodies to explore Singapore's gastronomic landscape by partnering with Shangri-La Group to bring an authentic taste of Singapore to Shangri-La's guests in China.

Sunny Paw, Shangri-La's deputy CEO and executive vice-president of operations in China, said: "There is a profound connection between Shangri-La and Singapore as our first hotel opened in Singapore 50 years ago. We have been inspired by our Asian heritage and committed to bringing the best of Asia to our guests through heartfelt hospitality and gastronomic innovation.
