Shanhaijian Hot Spring Resort, in Qinhuangdao city, Hebei province, recently held a promotion event in Beijing to introduce its unique travel experience as a getaway.

The resort, about 270 kilometers away from Beijing, is located in the Qinglong Manchu autonomous county, famous for its history and culture of Manchu ethnic group, where visitors can experience the local lifestyle.

Tourists can choose to stay in well-decorated villas or in a camp. They can climb the precipitous Lengkouguan section of the Great Wall and enjoy the ancient Lengkou Hot Spring, with the backdrop of rolling mountains.

They can have a marvelous view of the starry sky while soaking themselves in the hot spring. They can also enjoy the picturesque views from a swimming pool.

During the event, Shanhaijian Cultural Tourism Development Co Ltd signed memorandums of understanding with eight travel agencies, a media company and a consulting firm, to work together to promote the hot spring resort and attract more tourists from Beijing.
